Right of Withdrawal

COLTELLERIE BERTI intends to guarantee your complete satisfaction.
Should you be unsatisfied for any reason with your order, you have the right to make use of your Right of Withdrawal, without any penalty and without specifying any reason, within ten (10) working days, starting from the day the products purchased on were received.
The products you want to return must be handed over to the courier within 10 working days after you received them. The products may be returned by shipping the package through the courier appointed by COLTELLERIE BERTI (GLS), or by another shipping agent, only after you have made out the Returns Form which you will find on line in the Returns Form area.
You cannot change the product you chose for another.

Conditions for making use of the Right of Withdrawal

Use of the Right of Withdrawal requires fulfilment of the following conditions:
a. the Return form must be made out properly and sent by e-mail to COLTELLERIE BERTI within ten (10) working days from the day of delivery. The 

notice must also be sent within the same term by:

- or by telegram to the number (0039) or fax, to the number (0039) 055 84.68.014, to be confirmed, at your discretion, by return registered mail within the following 48 hours;

b. the products must not have been used, washed or damaged ;
c. the products must be returned in their original package (if you want to return a set, you have to return all the items belonging to it);
d. returned products must be sent to COLTELLERIE BERTI in a single shipment. COLTELLERIE BERTI reserves the right to reject products belonging to a 

single order but which have been returned and shipped at different times;

e. returned products must be delivered to the courier within ten (10) working days after they day you received the products.

If you fulfil all these conditions, COLTELLERIE BERTI will refund the full price of the purchased products.

Shipping costs for original delivery of the purchased products, customisation and gift packages, payment charges will not be refunded.

Shipment of the returns however will be free of charge if you decide to use our courier GLS or Fedex.

Should you decide to use a different shipping agent to return the products, you will have to pay shipping costs.

We shall get in touch with you if your returns cannot be accepted because they fail to comply with the above conditions. In this case, you can choose to have back the products you purchased, at your expense. Should you reject this shipment COLTELLERIE BERTI will reserve the right to withhold the products as well as the amount paid to purchase the products.

Returns from non-EEC countries

For returns from non-EEC countries, Coltellerie Berti does not refund costs of release from customs paid by the customer and does not pay re-importing costs. Returns will be accepted only if delivered with re-shipping and customs costs paid for by the person returning the goods.

Refund: how and when

COLTELLERIE BERTI will receive the returned items and make sure all the requirements have been complied with. You will then receive an e-mail confirming the returns were accepted. However you pay (credit/debit card, payment in cash on delivery), COLTELLERIE BERTI will refund you in the shortest possible time, and in any case within thirty (30) days after they became aware that you were making use of your Right of Withdrawal, and after having made sure that the withdrawal complied with the above conditions.

The time for actual re-crediting or return of the amount you paid to purchase the products depend on how you paid:
- purchase by credit card using PayPal: the time it takes to see the reimbursement depends on the bank that issued the card.
- purchase using your PayPal account: the refund will be made on your PayPal account and will be immediately visible. The time it takes to see the reimbursement on your credit card from your PayPal account depends on the bank that issued the card.
- payment in cash on delivery: reimbursement will be made on the current account you indicated at the time of the return, so reimbursement time will depend on the correctness of the data you provided. Normally re-crediting takes place within thirty (30) days.

Please remember if you paid using PayPal, the value date of the refund will be the same as that of payment, so you will suffer no interest loss.
In case of gift items, the amount will be refunded to the person who made the payment.

Courier to be used to return products free of shipping charges

Returns may be shipped free of charge using the courier GLS indicated by COLTELLERIE BERTI, using the pre-printed adhesive label you will find inside your package. This method will allow COLTELLERIE BERTI to pay shipment and check at all times where your package is. Contact GLS to organise collection. Should you decide to use a shipping agent other than the one indicated by COLTELLERIE BERTI to return the products, you will have to pay shipping costs including liability in case of loss.
